Yep… since I said, I'll resume my jdorama lifestyle… I say, I do..!!
On episode 04, titled: "A Past Revealed: For the 30,000 Children" (明かされた過去~3万人の子供たちへ )
Eiji was trying to save Shogo, knowing that, he's been abused…
Oh!! Then, I know, at any time, japan actually have 30,000 kids being abused, domestically!! Sad!
Eiji, his past, is just like Shogo, the present, therefore, he understands every single move and trait that Shogo has…
Sign of being abused…
Eventually, of course, Shogo was successfully brought way from his mother,
While Shogo was dragged and probably beaten up by his mother's boyfriend, he took his mother's mobile and typed S.O.S. to Eiji… and therefore, Eiji the hero came…
I liked that part how the producer made… everything's slow motion, no shouting, no yelling, no crying, only slow music… but SAD!!!
Before Eiji could save Shogo away from his mother, Eiji said something like this,
"the kid need to betray the parents", meaning the kid needs to realize that, he's to stay away from the parents, who're BAD!! Cos, most of the time, abused kids think that, they're bad, and therefore, they're abused!
"else, we can bring him away temporarily, but he'll eventually go back to his mother!"…
"if you try to take the kid away before he realizes it, that parents will come and say you're trying to kidnap the kid, it'll be troublesome"…
Well… I don't know that, helping an abused kid is that "complicated", ya, the easy way, is to wait for them to be abused again, with all the cuts and bruises, and probably no more life, then, you've all the evidence to call the police… but will one wait till then, and only do it??
That's why, this episode is particularly tear-shedding...
After Eiji and friends have sent Shogo to the shelter home,
Eiji had another conversation with his friends and family…
He said, when Shogo grows up, he'll start to wonder, why is life unfair to him,
And that, it'll be just like you, putting a sharp pin, into his heart, and that pin, will stay "forever" THERE!!!
Cos, he'll eventually disbelieve in true love…
Going out with girls, it's ok, but not when he really need to love somebody and learn about true love..
Cos, true love/unconditional love, by right, you learn it through your parents…
O.o (oh, something new for me, I thought you just learn about love, by chance?? Err.. Wrong again??)
Basically… Eiji's talking about himself…
And how he's his sharp pin pulled out??
Yep, that's pulled out by his so-called wife, ie. his daughter's mother, who died giving birth to their daughter…
Ie. just like my earlier post, stating a very sad opening chapter of this drama… The Flower Shop without Roses (薔薇のない花屋)
After finishing 5 episodes, 6 more to go…
I reckon, this is heavily… about love!
All about love…
Mio & Eiji,
Eiji & his so-called wife…
Eiji & Naoya and Keiko, who he accepted as "family", to stay together with him,
Eiji & Shizuku,
Eiji's so-called wife's father daughter/wife, (oh!! He's a busy doctor, probably ignoring family members all the while, and when their beloved daughter's gone, he's to take revenge, which obviously when something "wrong", he probably didn't have time to notice)
Mio & her father, (who she seemed to hate, but yet, so concerned, as he's already at his late stage of cancer, when they found out)
I like it when Eiji told Shogo, before Shogo leave them for the shelter home,
Eiji said to Shogo, "when you grow up, or, wherever you'll be in the future, you will have ups and downs, and you'll be demotivated, unhappy about life, just bring a rose, and come to the florist in front of the train station, look for me, I'll be there for you",
Oh!! That, I cried… and now I know, why this shop doesn't sell rose, cos, it's a different meaning to Eiji…
Isn't that heart-warming, when somebody as wretched as Shogo, miraculously met somebody like Eiji (who's sharing the same childhood, most likely) who're willing to give him a hand when most needed??
Eiji's like a guardian angel to Shogo, (and probably to many other friend, like Keiko, or, Naoya??)
And it's always nice and sweet to know that, you've a guardian angel, who's always there, for you!
