He! He! He!… No Yahoo! Plus

Hehehe… I found another solution to bypass the yahoo!plus thingy..
Don't ask me why I bother (as I've too many account?? And don't ask me why I've that many accounts, it's just something that I've build up over sooooooooooo many years since 1997… and also it's because of my useless/pointless 'kiasu'-ness that endup with another round of useless/pointless sentimental value… ^_^

See… since I've been using gmail solely... (99.9%, just like I.T. term, no 100% in this world man!)
So, I thought I wanna migrate most of the other stuff to my gmail, ie. consolidation…
Well.. Gmail has one "import" function, but it's kinda messy, (in my opinion) and less control for me…
Ye… I'm kinda control freak in this sense… I mean, things under my fingers…
So, I thought of doing this automatic email forwarding FROM my yahoo email accounts…
Well.. If  any of my friends still remember, before I start using my whatever "choong" @gmail, I've my cchoong94 at yahoo, and later, for some other reason, choong94 at yahoo was born too… kekekeke!!!!!

And therefore, at this wee hour, I want to try to do auto-forwarding from my yahoo email accounts to my gmail…,
Tonight's the second night I've tried and I've found a solution, kinda…
See… accidentally, I found that, one of my yahoo account can do auto-forwarding, without signing up to yahoo plus… (it's hard to google for such solution, cos, it's kinda secret/tips?? Cos, yahoo still want to make sure their paid users do get the things they've paid for, and other people cannot just get it without paying, and that's the reason, I do not want to make a big ANNOUNCEMENT over my findings…)

So, I tweak and tweak my other email account, which I was asked to upgrade to yahoo plus… failed!!! That's as of last night, ie. a day before this blog…
And the next thing I found, accidentally, one of my yahoo.co.uk have such feature for free…
Yes, only people with yahoo.co.uk email, can have email forwarding for free!! And yes, that's the first findings…
But then again, my cchoong94 that's the feature too, without any much of hassle from me, does not bear any yahoo.co.uk as email address… then, what's the trick??
I thought it's yahoo m'sia that's offfering such free feature…
If you wiki yahoo mail, you'll see a statement, "some of the countries" offer "email forwarding" as free…
Kekekeke…

As conclusion,
If your email is @yahoo.com, there's no way, you can change to @yahoo.co.uk right???
Then… change it to Yahoo! Asia… (detail figure out yourself, hint: change your current server to yahoo asia server, rather than whatever yahoo server you're with now, yahoo USA for sure, does not offer that for free!)
