My Netbook

See… the other day I thought I wanted to buy a netbook (as if I've a lot of money.. The fact is, I don't!)

I want a netbook, so that I can bring it around while we leave the house, for short trip, if I need to manage my virtual restaurant and café (restaurant city & café world on facebook - sad huh!), and also to blog… (who knows, I may suddenly come out with a lot of nonsense that need to be jotted down…)

So… I was searching and browsing around the internet, PC website, PC vendor websites…

HOWEVER!! I couldn't find anything below RM1K,

Ya, just for a netbook, RM1K is my max budget, as it's only serves as a netbook, nothing more…

Browing..  Browsing… Browsing…

Checking… checking… checking…

Of course the common ones are like Asus, Acer… with price that's NEAR RM1K-1.5K,

Then, suddenly there's one site (a reseller/retailer) shows that, there's 1 brand that's below RM1K, with reasonable specs (I've come across lowyat forum, where there're specs like, HDD capacity is only 8GB and so on, on Linux somemore… the seller was saying, "you want below RM1K, that's the specs")

Since the 'market' is as such, I decided to go back to my cold storage and pull out my old notebook, the notebook I've acquired since 2004, prior to my traveling life with him…

It's the lightest, and most IN specs, in that year… ie. slim, 10" screen size, and 3 USB ports, I needed one for traveling and I needed a light one for traveling…

Ya, that's how it looks like…

Though, it's damn noisy.. And kinda slow now.. I thought, for my mentioned purpose for just a couple of day, it's more than 'good enough' :)

So, I actually have a netbook ya?? :)
