Our Choice

Momoko (陶晶瑩) said this before, our choice defines who we are…

I don't know why there're women(same as, there're men) who like to complain about their husband,

Mostly complain about  the husband doesn't make enough money,

Or, the husband's not strong enough in his personality,

Or, the husband's not firm in his opinion,

Or, the husband does not hold a good post in his work, or he's not ambitious enough… bla bla bla...

Some women can go on and on, complaining about the same damn thing every single day…

Complain it to other people, complain it to the husband directly…

I don't know why…

Cos, the husband's her choice, she chose to marry him in the first place,

When she made that decision, she should have known very well the husband's personality, and should know what's there to expect..

Serious, I don't know why people complain, as, in my humble opinion, if you start to complain… in a daily basis, you should try to change something… again, maybe my mother's not a complaining type of person, that's why it's not a character that I'm used to put up with…

Parents, we've no choice, but it doesn't mean that we can complain everyday, as they're our parents,

Spouse?? It's our choice, if we complain, each time we do it, it's like we're slapping ourselves non-stop… consistently.. Isn't it?

Do something, rather than keep yakking, non-stop, it'll tend to get irritating eventually, to people around them…

I write this, it's because, I've been watching the "taste of love" (another mediacorp production), where the wife just keep complaining and scolding the husband… gosh!!! I feel like slapping her, but I know, this is not just limited in the movie… it probably happens every day, every hour, just somewhere near us, and we do not know… (I don't want to know anyway)

Like momoko said, our choice makes us who we are,

We choose this husband, and we're mrs. Somebody, and then, one day, we're not too happy about certain thing… (there shall be many ways to resolve issues) and choice is between, "to complain", or "to stop complaining but looking for resolution"…

More complaint, more nagging… problem can be solved??

If problem can be solved,  then, I'd better take a piece of tofu and knock my own head into it…!!

Same things happen to men!!

I seriously despise men, who look down on their wives…

Wife, you choose to marry this woman!! When they're girls, young and pretty…

And then, married to you, help you take care of your household (some even help you to look after your parents, while you're outside) and give birth to your children, and end up what??

I've read about some news, which, some men even complained that their wives smell!!

Ya, then why don't you employ a personal baby sitter, a personal cleaner, a personal cook, a personal shopper, a personal caretaker, a personal whatever crap, and most importantly, a manager who manages these personnel!!???

And I'll be acting pretty, put on new nail polish everyday, go for liposuction every half year, leave your babies with the personal baby sitter, go shopping everyday, buy beautiful clothes…

NO~~~ you're going to complain again, say that your wife is not like a wife, and has been wasting your hard-earn money…

See!! Men, when they're so immature, and want to play irresponsible, or, want to be an idiot, or an asshole, that's how they are, NO MATTER what you do, or, how you do, they're not happy with you..

Come on!! Your wife smells!!! As if you smell like scented flower, perfume, or some sort of nice smell, probably you'll smell of cigarettes, if not cigar, or, smell of alcohol, or some stupid cologne, or, some perfume you put on your body which you think it's nice, but I think IT SMELLS!!! Aarghh, awful!!!...

That's why, men, if you intend to say bad things about your wives, do keep yourself faraway from me,

And women, if you wanna complain about your husband, ok… since we're the same species, I'll try to listen, before I'll politely as k you to shut up…

Afterall… why are we complaining about our own choice??

Why do we have to?

(I think I've written about similar stuff long time ago, but nevermind, just another round of release!! Even software also has many versions and mini versions)
