When an Organization's too forgiving...

Ok ok, I know I'm supposed to be forgiving, and I'm supposed to forgive 7 times x 7 times, and x 7 times again… (if you know what I mean!!)

Anyway, I'm not talking about those type of forgiveness…

I was just thinking the other day…

When an organization's too forgiving to its non-performing staff…, ie. you're actually paying a dormant, non-contributing staff, with the revenue that you make, which, if you're good, it can be given out as bonus, to those PERFORMING AND CONTRIBUTING STAFF…!!

Ya, that's my theory…

And if this organization's basically not too strict, or demanding enough on every of their staff… ie. those who can perform get more work, and leave alone those who're not performing…

Not performing, ie. you make neither no contribution, nor mistake… to these non-performers, they think they're smart/safe hiding there…

And that works for an organization's that's forgiving, like I've said…

However, if there's strict measurement in the organization, these people, will not be able to hide for long…

When you actually allow these people to hide in your organization, let me tell you,

You're not going to go anywhere, I mean, your business…

It'll get to a point, where all appraisal exercise is just a show to put on, yearly… and all appreciation's just for those who're close to the management, there's no REAL crediting, and punishment… people who're getting below average are still getting their decent-enough pay, right???

Yes, this type of organization will just not get to anywhere they want, though they may have BIG dream!!! Look at Google, for eg. Why are they good? (I seriously think that they're good!!! In any aspect!) cos, they put strict measurement onto any of their staff, if you're not contributing, better pack and leave…

Same goes to the management of a country… and come on!!

Look at our country…

Corrupted people are forgiven from time to time, that's why, WE'RE NOT, AND WE'LL NEVER GET ANYWHERE!!!

Irregardless what BIG and HUGE ambition you put on, during the national day, or, during whatever plan!!!

You and and us, as long as we're here, we're just not going to get to anywhere!!

Cos, the "top management" people, are just very forgiving people, including forgiving themselves, with mistakes, over and over again, plus forgiving those "bad managers"… from time to time…

If there's any so-called punishment… oh! Come on!! We all know that, it's just A SHOW!

That's why, we're just not going to reach any ambitious farview that we've set for ourselves!!
