Ok, about the "silly talk" first…
It's the term given to stephen chow's "mo lei tau" (wiki's explanation, and stephen chow happily accepted it!)
There're quite a couple of famous sitcom in the whole TV history, I mean, those from the hollywood…
Probably… the most famous friend-based sitcom will be "FRIENDS"… (of course!)
However… all these many famous sitcom, I've kinda watched before…
I'm not condemning the content of theirs, but, there're only a FEW that I'll actually enjoy watching…
Even if I'm alone…
See??
Sometimes, if you watch with your friends, certain shows will be very much enjoyable, but not when you're alone…
Ie. these are the sitcom that I actually like… ^_^…
Lately… (ok, since quite a couple of years ago, they're on season 5 now? That says… ooh, 5 years ago…
It's also bunch of friends, who're like not doing much daily, ok, I know marshall's law student, and lily's a kindy teacher… robin's a newscaster? (or a reporter who wants to be a newscaster) and ted, barney, can't remember…
I remember I got hooked on it, with the stories between ted and barney, in their office…
Ah… now, it seems like there aren't many shows about them in the office, or are there?
Yep, that's the type of humour that I actually enjoy… almost all episodes,
Maybe it's because there's a ted who always look so pathetic, and robin's hot, and barney's funnily sarcastic, but also, he likes almost any girl… (oops, except his cousin, haha!)
Anyway, of course, I'm not the "master" of this show, cos, I didn't really follow through each episodes…
Just today, I was watching some season 1 episode, and twice, within that half an hour, I actually bursted into laughter, all by myself, ok, baby's with me, not that she understands a wee bit…
Mainly it's when ted brought victoria back to the apartment, and they're doing this soul-talking in the living room,
While lily and marshall were peeping from the bathroom… (ok, they're nice enough to try to hide and pretend that they're not in, so that, ted can get to be together intimately with victoria, the new girl he's met in a friend's wedding…)
Both of them were kinda like "disgusted" by the conversation between the innocent 2, ie. ted and victoria, cos, victoria was saying something like, "I want to know your soul,", and "what makes you cry?"… haha…
However, since 2 of them, lily and marshall had nothing much to do, in the bathroom (after they've brushed and flossed their teeth)… lily suddenly talked about, they've not been having much of "first time" type of feeling lately… (cos, they've been together for so long, and most of the time, wa ha… they'll just go straight to bed… ^_~)
Then… at the end of the show, while ted and victoria have finally disappeared from the living room, 2 of them came out, and sat on the sofa… suddenly, marshall started those exact words that ted's said to victoria, and lily, vice versa…
Wa haha!!! Yep, I thought, that's funny…
Maybe things that tickle me, will be different from what tickles you, but then,
HIMYM's formulae suits me almost 100% (so far, I've not found any flaw in the show, ie. there isn't anybody that I dislike, or any scene that I dislike, oh, only 1 part, which I didn't follow through… that makes it to 99%, which is the part, when lily decided to leave marshall to pursue her so-called dream… but in the end, I kinda know that, they got back together in the following season)
Oh, back to the laughter…
That's the first one,
The second scene was, when barney and robin went for the laser war game,
Ha~ the way the shoot it, it's like barney and robin doing some "first blood" scene… which I thought was quite funny… especially with robin, cos, robin always strikes me as, some pretty girl, who… well… just have to act pretty…
It's not that with this scene, she can proves herself to be somebody elses, but then, at least, I get to see a slightly different robin…
