Addiction!!

Haha… yep, lately, I, if not US, have been in addiction to SiChuan's oily fish, or, "water-cooked" fish!!! 沸騰魚,水煮魚。
After so many round of "suggestion" to him, we've finally step foot in Jin Shan Cheng, 金山城 @ Sunway Mentari… that's for last weekend…
Verdict? Not bad, though of course, you can't compare it with Shanghai's Tony, 上海多利川菜!!
But the kick of sichuan pepper 花椒, was simply… sweet and amazing… kakakaaka…
However, for their 沸騰魚,it was lack of 花椒, the chinese pepper…

Then, today… we're craving for another round of 花椒dose… well… happened that, both of us were having sichuan food in mind… kekekeke… just like any husband and wife right??
So, this time, we went to the new outlet, ie. the second branch of 粗茶淡飯,just a few doors away from BellyGood, 1st floor, also in Sunway Mentari…
Verdict??

Well… overall… I prefer 金山城's food, cos, they're more generous with 花椒,
If I were to go for another round, I'll go back to 金山城,though it's looooooooooong waiting for your food to come, cos, their priority is to serve steamboat… as vs. to 粗茶淡飯,which doesn't serve steamboat… and the latter also has a slightly shorter food menu…
And if I were go to back to 金山城,this time, we'll ask them to top up a lot a lot of 花椒 on top of the whatever fish!!! Kekekeke……
Not that I've fallen so much in love with 花椒 as he does… I'll actually "yeek", "yuck", if I accidentally chew on one of this pepper bits…
But then… if you don't get the 'numbness' sensation in your mouth and tongue, as a result of eating 花椒,I don't see the point why you want to go for any sichuan food…
Similarly, I don't know (and I've voiced out to him, while having dinner just now) why Dragon-I actually dares to have a dish called 辣子雞, (mandarin: La Zi Ji, cantonese: La Chee Kai)
Cos, there's no sign of 花椒 in there, AT ALL… it's in a way, nice though… but I still think that, it shouldn't be called 辣子雞,at least, maybe they should have the courtesy of putting a "KL version" of La Zi Ji, ie. K版辣子雞,or, to simplified, K子雞, hahahaha…

Ps: if happens that, I'm using hanyu pinyin to type, and K子雞ends up as K自己,ie. beat yourself up!!! Oops…
