Why I resolved to online shopping...

I'm not sure about you,
but as for me,
ever since baby's joined our family and come into our life, I've resolved to online shopping...
now, baby's almost 3 years old, if I were to think again,
yes, ONLINE shoppping...

let me share my experience with you,
I bought books from mphonline.com,
cos, I realized, if I want some books, I don't have to go to each and everyone of the MPH outlets to look for them,
as not all outlets have the same stock, and not one outlet will have all stocks...
so, I like to buy books online, those people can help me to gather all the books and ship them to me, providing, they don't charge too expensive for the handling fees...
(sometimes, they do charge, sometimes, they don't, I don't know when they'll charge...)

yesterday, we went to lowyat plaza, intending to find some small gadgets, and an droid pad,
but then... when we went,
gosh!!! damn a lot of people, damn a lot of shops... selling almost the same things... pad - iPad, or samsung... the rest, are just to "fill in the blank"...
and after braving through the crowd, which was really not that pleasant, with me, being pregnant, and us, having to take along our 2-year-old daughter...
just not THAT friendly, for FAMILY!! THAT PLACE! though, I still see a lot of parents and kids around... hahaha...

and, after walked through 1 round of lowyat,
we gave up, empty-handed...

simply! too painful!

so, I now, rest my case in getting something from lowyat or any "hip" shopping place... (first of all, I really hate crowded places!)
and I shall extend my search online again, and make sure I'll get them...

online shopping??
forever good!

You want a MOM? or You want a WIFE?

yes, I don't quite understand, (and frankly, I wouldn't want to understand) why there're certain men, being brought up this way!!!!!!!!!!

why do you want to marry a woman, who you call, WIFE!!!
and yet, you expect her to be like your MOM????
if you can't love the woman, who you call WIFE, as a husband should/will love...
then, DON'T get married!!! frankly!!!

I seriously do not understand, why men, wanna look for a "just-like-my-mom" type of wives...
if you want your wife to be soooooooooooo much like your mom, does it mean that you even think of going to bed with your mom in your wildest dream??
come on!!
that's sick!!!

like I said, MAN!!
if you just can't grow up to be like a MAN,
or, you just don't have the capability to grow up like a MAN,
don't think about getting married, ok??
please know yourself better...
don't simply go marry some nice nice girl, (oh!! damn! maybe your mom urge you so, ie. "son AH son!! faster get married LO!!!")
and make them suffer...

seriously...
if you're always such a MOMMY BOY!!! please don't go screw up some nice nice girl's life, by getting married to her,
and expecting her, or forcing her, to slowly transforming to becoming your MOM!!
that's sick!
very sick!!!!!!!

and all MOM!! (including me!)
please do not make your boys such a mommy boy!!!
if you've been a GIRL yourself... please don't make other girls suffer... please be a little bit compassionate~

MAN oh MAN!!!!!
if you ever ever ever are going after some motherly figure (just somebody like your MOM!) girls...
then, please put off the idea that you wanna get married...
my suggestion??
go think of what you can do with your mom!!
and stop screwing the world!

damn you~

the above "inspired" rant, is from an article, I read, written by Betty Wu (吳淡如),
exactly... the story goes,
husband kept expecting the wife to be like the mom,
ie. do all the housechores, without nagging, let him laze around in the house... let him be just HE, when he's a boy... he's a at-home-grownup...
so, the wife TRIED to be one,
and all seems well...
at night, in bed...
of course, the man wanna be "close" to the wife..., ie. (husband's & wife's activities)
so, guess what the answer's given by the wife?

our dear national airline

OK... I decide to post,
cos, I actually wanted to "share" it out publicly...
but then, I don't want to "attract" unnecessary trouble for my friend who's posted this online...
so, I "stole" the pics, and put it here...

comment from him, as a passenger in this flight,
"A turbulent flight, a hard landing and an oxygen mask malfunction..."

I'm a bad employer...

Cos, I simply can't live without it… ~_~

Speaking of my ergorapido…
In fact, there's a small broken section on the suction tube… the one connecting the suction head and the body…
Well, cos, it's plastic material, and cos… we've had it for how long?? Around 6-7 years I guess..
We've changed the internal battery once… and that's all…
The rest is, up to it..

Only that day, I found the broken section…
Then, I looked only for the service centre… oh, that same service centre we went to…

The thing is,
To live without it for more than 1 week, or even more… (cos, it's old model, and cos, I don't know how long those people will take, to fix it…)
I just can't bear to live without it…
Serious, I'm addicted to this vacuum…
Each time, when I went to other people's house, for a stay,
When I see some dust, some hair on the floor… I'll always wish, my ergorapido's next to me, and I can vacuum vacuum vacuum "kao kao", haha!!!

Anyway,
Wait till I'm "ready",
Then, I'll send it for repair…
As of now…
Seriously, I think, I'm bad,
It's already broken (injured) and yet, I'm still using it to vacuum…
Cos the angle and the way I use it, the broken section will be "closed", ie. dust will still gets its way to the dust compartment in the body…

Ah kakakakakakakakaka!

the next on my wish list.. ^_^

Oh yes, after getting 2 500GB HDD, I'm happy for now…
But there're always things that I'll want to have, want to use, want to own…
The next on my wish list…
Hm… (oh ya, despite the HDDs I got for my birthday, I got a wok, from cosway, well… I can't bear to spend >500 bucks on something that's going to get oily and scratched, and cooked, so, I use the redemption point, add some money, finally, I got my 40cm wok stainless steel wok, round bottom… yes, I've been cooking using flat bottom, for once, I wanna try with round bottom… ok ok, that's housewife's talk…)

Next on my wish list is this…

Dyson DC50…
After testing and trying…
As for me,
I've to say, I hate conventional vacuum…
Irregardless, they're upright, or those real conventional ones, that you've to drag along the "body", and I seriously love cordless stick-type of vacuum, just like my ergorapido…
The point is, not so on cordless or not cordless, it's stick-like…
Like this dyson, like my ergorapido…
Cos, just dragging along the big huge body's tiring…

I went to dyson's outlet the other day in harvey norman,
In fact, it's always available in SG, but as usual, SLOW to be launched in m'sia…
Cos, we m'sian's just not that adventurous, and much lower spending power…
Apparently, the show assistant said, it'll be only available at the end of this year… ^_^

Ok, I'll wait… then, I guess, I'll be damn "syok", using it…
Just like my ergorapido…

toys she plays...

Well… most of them have been confiscated… ^_^ cos, I seriously cannot take the mess in the house, toys are everywhere… all the "pots and pans", all the "cups and spoons"… bla bla bla… whenever I see such mess, I'll start to get moody, and starts to scold her…
Therefore, last week, mid of last week… (I think on my birthday) I took them away, for good…
I told her, one day, when you're old enough to organize your own things, and when you know how to put them back to where they're supposed to be… then, I'll give it back to you…

But it doesn't mean that, she's toyless there're things that I can't hide, and I don't want to hide…
For eg. Her push cars, her rocking mooze, how to hide? Those big things, like her fisher price musical chair…
Also, her flash cards.. Her books… her stationeries, yep… those I won't hide, and her lego duplo set… (though I hide the lego set, cos, she didn't really play with it, but only take out the small pieces and do her "fried rice" thing… @_@)

Anyway,
So, as of today,
Her flashcards become her plates,
Her lego duplo blocks become her cakes, sometimes bubble maker (those with the round thing and you put on some soap water, and blow to have some bubbles), and sometimes, her phones, sometimes, just something else…

In a way, yes, maybe it sounds a little bit pathetic here, but then, I'm pretty happy with her imagination, and the sort of things she can come out with… those limited "tools" that I've left for her…
Else, what she'll do with her other TOYS, is…
Everyday, after she gets up from bed, she'll take them out from the drawers, spread them all over the place… and YES, didn't even want me to nag her to pick them up and put them back…
I just told her,
You mess up the place, I'm unhappy,
But if I ask you to tidy up, you're unhappy…

So, the deal is, limited toy,
Limited play area…

Then, we both, in a way, stay happy!!

Money Money Money

... and THAT... reminded me of another day...
when I was busy surfing the online store... for her hello kitty clothings... (ya, bought a lot from mybabypitstop.com)
she saw those hello kitty utensils, for eg. lunch boxes, cups, cutleries, bags...
she was on my lap...
then, she pointed at one of those item (can't remember which one!)... and told me that, "mama, I want this one..."
then, I told her, "mama's looking for your pyjamas, we don't have money to buy other things... mama don't have money...", 媽媽沒有錢。

I didn't know, she'd immediately come out with...
"爸爸有錢。", ie. Papa's money...

again, I "corrected" her...
that, we don't have money, ya, that type of money to buy redundant items...
of course, those things are lovely, ya, tell me about hello kitty... I know it's a long-time-in-the-market figure... but lately, maybe because of her, I'm kinda attracted to this stupid cat...
anyway, also, another reason is, I don't like the idea if she starts to like some other animated characters that, I HATE!!!
that's why... you see LO...

ya... later that night, I mentioned that to him as well..
and of course, both of us, gotta give her the right type of message, about money usage...
but so far so good...
for eg. if she wants to pull out more wet wipe or tissue, for play reason,
I'll just tell her how hard her father needs to work, to earn the dollars...
and simply taking these things, just to play with, and then throw it away, is a waste...
I got really upset one day, when she didn't want to finish her formulae, and she told me, "mama, throw it away!!"
wa!! damn!!! immediately little baby was scolded KAO KAO by me man!!

of course, later, I forced her, and she kinda forced herself to drink a little bit more, and I see that her expression's so pathetic...
so, ya... I threw away the remaining bit... +_+

Bags Bags Bags

the other day, I received my parcel from TinyTapir...
basically it's my order - bags...
yes, notice the word, bagS... ^_^
they've their promo, envirosax - 5 bags for some price, I thought, it's quite a good deal...
(gosh! did I tell you, I've fallen in love with all washable bags?? cotton, canvas, those hand-woven bags that people give as goodie bag...?? and any "green" bag...)
so, when I was busy unwrapping the parcel and checking on the bags...
ya, plus another rootote bag... (with chicken prints, lovely!)
she!! my lovely baby... (ok, she's already a toddler now, but she's still my lovely precious baby!) suddenly asked, "HOW COME MAMA GOT SO MANY BAGS??"
ya... that's purely and originally and absolutely from her, and by her...
I burst into laughter...
and I just told her...
"ya, mama loves bag... you want one? later mama give you one to play with...",
and THAT, she's happy...
later, when I sms'ed him of what she's said,
he told me, immediately he thought of the fact that, she wanted a bag for herself...
hahaha...

Teenage problem...

well... quote from my friend, who said, "it's shows for teenagers...", I asked him, "you've problem of me watching this show??",
well, maybe this show seems to be for teenager...
but I dare to say, it's also a show for parents, and teachers, cos, it's a show, about the problems, current problem, social problems that are surfacing in the teenagers, school girls, school boys community...
and the more I watched, the more scary I am..
I mean, one day, my daughter will grow up, and she'll leave me at least half day a day, to be in school...
she'll face her own problem, and meet her own friends, mix with her own friends and so on...
it's a lot of unknown out there...
what can I do now?? well... I can't do anything, cos, she's not grown up yet, ^_^ and thus, the only thing I can do, is to pray...
in that story? I mean, "Gloomy Salad Day",
basically, these are the problems listed.../mentioned...
- kid abandoned due to parents' divorce, in the end, she'd rather die...
- father who doesn't appreciate/understand the son's interest...
- alcoholic non-working father, mother's always jobless... what can the girl do? well.. work in night club LO... sell her only asset LO... so that, she can continue her schooling...
- relationship with teacher... (arrgh!)
- homosexual... and peer pressure sometimes..
- bully case in school...
well... these problems, I've seen it zillion time in those japanese dramas...
and slowly, I came across it in taiwan social news...
in our country?
I'm not so sure...
but at the time when all our kids are grown up, to high school??
I'm not sure, and I'll definitely be worried...
I mean... this sort of problem, once it's started, one just won't know how to end it, right??

The Priceless...

something... something is just priceless... in my opinion, in life...
which everybody's already known... but I'll just have to say it again, cos, it's timeless... too...
one is our family,
one is our health...
family - we may quarrel, argue, sometimes, even turns out like enemies... but like the chinese saying, "blood's thicker than water", somehow, the bond's there...
but it doesn't mean that, no blood bond, equals to no bond...
anyway...
you know what I mean...
yes, we may complain about our siblings, or parents on and off...
but today, if you've finished your university... (unless you're an orphan, or abusive parents, that's different story) under the care of your parents...
and if you've got an almost OK career... (no career's consider perfectly OK!)
or, if you've already started a family, with kids,
and in your memory, besides, sometimes, being scolded by your parents for not doing your homework, other than that...
whatever that's happened in the past, for eg. parents argued sometimes, or bla bla bla bla bla... or parents really scolded you hard sometimes... because of some bad things that you've done...
as long as, you don't come from a broken family, ie. abusive/alcoholic/whatever-damaging-stupid-addiction parents...
I guess, you and me, are just OK...
if you're reading this blog, with a lightened heart, (not a heavy and hateful heart)
then, I guess, you and me, are just OK...
and just because of this, "just OK",
let me tell you, and let me tell myself...
that, we should say thanks, to our parents...
if you've kids today, you'll know that, nobody's perfect, and thus, no parent is perfect...
so, don't be too harsh on your parents...
especially, they're getting old...
maybe sometimes, you look at their face...
maybe some small acts that they do,
disgust you (sorry to say), but no matter what, they're your parents, (yes, choong! they're your parents!)
they've at least bought proper baby formulae for you before,
have bought nice cute baby clothing for you before,
changed your diaper before,
potty-trained you before,
fed you (with or without patience, I don't know LA!) before when you've just learnt how to chew on solid food, bla bla bla...
and they've sent you to proper school,
bought some additional reading materials for you,
sent you to tuition class...
please! don't think that, all these are BY DEFAULT!
even as kids, as their children, nothing would come easy, nothing would be BY DEFAULT...
I'm not saying that, our parents might not have wanted to do all these... but sometimes,
not everybody CAN (capability wise, mentally wise, health wise, financial wise, bla bla bla bla bla...) afford to give us all these...
and that...
if you're what you're today,
and you've not been through hardship...
say thanks to your parents...
and say thanks to the Almighty God in Heaven, who gave us our parents... who're caring... and and careful...
like I said, nobody's perfect, thus, no parent will be perfect,
including you and me now, and including you and me, in the future...
as what I have told my friend, therefore, nobody dares to write, "how to be 100% parent/mother"...
cos, there's nothing as 100%,
you force your kids alllllll the way, to achieve the greatness high in his study, maybe somebody will still jump out, and tell you that, you've ripped off his childhood, his play time, and too much stress for him and bla bla bla...
I suddenly feel like blabbering and blabber... in this manner...
it's because I've just watched (not finished yet) a taiwanese series, "Gloomy Salad Days" (死神少女)

... to be continued in another blog entry...

The Fifteen Promises of Mary to Christians Who Recite the Rosary

The Fifteen Promises of Mary to Christians Who Recite the Rosary

  1. Whoever shall faithfully serve me by the recitation of the rosary, shall receive signal graces.

  2. I promise my special protection and the greatest graces to all those who shall recite the rosary.

  3. The rosary shall be a powerful armor against hell, it will destroy vice, decrease sin, and defeat heresies.

  4. It will cause virtue and good works to flourish; it will obtain for souls the abundant mercy of God; it will withdraw the heart of men from the love of the world and its vanities, and will lift them to the desire of eternal things. Oh, that souls would sanctify themselves by this means.

  5. The soul which recommend itself to me by the recitation of the rosary, shall not perish.

  6. Whoever shall recite the rosary devoutly, applying himself to the consideration of its sacred mysteries shall never be conquered by misfortune. God will not chastise him in His justice, he shall not by an unprovided death; if he be just he shall remain in the grace of God, and become worthy of eternal life.

  7. Whoever shall have a true devotion for the rosary shall not die without the sacraments of the Church.

  8. Those who are faithful to recite the rosary shall have during their life and at their death the light of God and the plenitude of His graces; at the moment of death they shall participate in the merits of the saints in paradise.

  9. I shall deliver from purgatory those who have been devoted to the rosary.

  10. The faithful children of the rosary shall merit a high degree of glory in heaven.

  11. You shall obtain all you ask of me by the recitation of the rosary.

  12. All those who propagate the holy rosary shall be aided by me in their necessities.

  13. I have obtained from my Divine Son that all the advocates of the rosary shall have for intercessors the entire celestial court during their life and at the hour of death.

  14. All who recite the rosary are my son, and brothers of my only son Jesus Christ.

  15. Devotion of my rosary is a great sign of predestination.

Super "beh song"-ness

what's super "beh song"??

ya... that's when you're already pretty "beh song", and somebody asks you to just swallow it, and behave, and be nice and be whatever !#@%$#@^%$#&$$!#%@##$@$

it's just like when you already have a pin inside your skin,

and somebody comes and pushes it further into your skin... oouch!!!!!!!!

and then, tells you that, you should pretend to be happy and be nice to everybody...

and !%#$!%#% not make it so obvious..

and yes, that makes me more and more "beh song",

get it??

Looks like Twins, but not look like Twins; Don't look like Twins, but then, looks like Twins… DAMN~

Look at this, look at this…
Goodness… is all I've to say,
See, I'm not a fan of Twins (girls' group from HK) and then, I never thought I gotta talk about them here, but I just can't resist, I've to talk…

See… when I saw this MTV on the TV,
I was like,
"are they Twins??"
"no… the supposed Ah Sa's mouth's a bit distorted,"
"no… the supposed Ah Kiu's eyes are not that big as before…,"
"goodness!! If they've Twins, how can they move in such manner… like… they're sogreen, just out of town, huh??"
He said, "the dance calligraphy is like sooooo raw…", (oh, was there one in the beginning??)

I thought it's some local m'sian girls group, who's trying to be like Twins…
Though we're pretty famous at copying others.. (of course not at good as the Grand Cheena!)
But then, isn't it too obvious, to get a girl, who looks like Ah Kiu? Who's exactly the same soulless and dumb looking eyes... And another who looks so so so so much like Ah Sa?????
Isn't that soooooooo obvious that, this group is copying Twins…??
While I'm trying to convince myself that they're Twins… but then, they just look soooooooooooo unlike the two girls…

In the end… the nokia phone in this song (I supposed it's a advertisement song from Twins) showed "Twins"… ooh…
So, I told him, "IT'S TWINS MAN!!!",
And gosh!!!!!!!!

Twins!!! Can you please just grow up and improve???

That's Life… @#%^%@^@&$%$#%

Yes, that's life…
When you pay 100-200 bucks per month, and if the subscribed channel's watchable or not, it still depends on the weather… the service provider (ASTRO) will not be responsible… if you want better service?? Pay another few bucks more…

Yes, that's life…
When your internet's down for no reason, no warning, down for nearly 24 hours, and you just have to live with it, and if you gotta call the service centre/customer service, they'll read out from the manual, and then, they'll tell you, "it's like this, we can't do anything about it!"… that's our Telekom Malaysia…, and according to some call-centre expert's opinion, this sort of attitude, is beyond stupidity… ie. even if you change all the stupid people at the helpdesk/call center, it won't help...

Yes, that's life…
When even you've quite a bit of deposit in the bank, I mean, quite a bit… a few zero's… maybe??
The bank's the guts to tell you that, if you don't do anything about it for the next 30 days, upon the date of the issued letter… they'll start charging you 10 bucks for maintaining your account, hey!!! I thought I'm your customer??? And yes, that's STANDARD CHARTERED BANK MALAYSIA…
I thought I've just hundred over pounds with Natwest, and thhey've not done anything like this to me yet…

Yes, that's life…
When you've to pay 10% as service charge to any restaurant out there… for their so-called non-existence service…
That happen in nearly 90% in any food places in this country…
And that, you've to pay a few bucks, for the so-called juices, which is mainly colour+water+sugar…

Yes, that's life…
When you've to pay expensive toll fee everyday, and yet, you still have to jam all the way, ooh… probably to the next toll collection booth… THEN?? Jam again LO~~

Yes, that's life…
That's life in the country…
Where the SERVICE PROVIDER has no sense of SLA, no sense of responsibility,
They charge you for simply anything, and they give you back for simply nothing…
And that's the services in any service industry in this country, banks, restaurants, retailers…

Let me tell you,
That's life…
That's your great grand father's life,
That's your grand father's life,
That's your life,
And that'll be your son's life,
And that'll be your grandson's life,
And that'll be your great grandson's life…
Of all… remember, that's your life…
And that, you'll never progress…
Your life will forever be the same,
Probably you'll start to blame others…
But let me tell you again and again…
You'll forever be just like this…
Cos, you don't even have a sense of shame,
A sense of what a service provider shall do, and shall SERVICE,
Yes, call yourself A service provider… and the world will laugh at you,
Cos,  you've no sense of SLA, you've no sense of responsibility…

Of course, in my opinion, our world (ie. your dear customers, which you call DEAR, but you don't really regard as DEAR) will be better…
If the day you're down, you reduce our bill, so on and so forth…
THEN, probably I'll have some peace…
However, since trash is just what you take in, and give out,
I won't expect that to happen…

Anyway… I know…
Till I find a better place, a better chance,
I'll never look back… at you…
And you shall rot with your ancestors, and your descendants, cos, that's life… or yours!

how nice if I can have this phone...

I actually miss the Sony Ericsson w880i candy bar phone… serious…
I miss the touch and feel of this device… seriously…
If not because the battery just died on me for no reason,
And to replace one, it's just like 1/4 of another new phone, (same model)
Then, I wouldn't be changing to my current android…
    Ie. Garmin Asus A10…
However… I like this new phone of mine too… simply because, it's a GPS phone…
    And it's Garmin… hehehe…
BUT… since I suddenly miss my old w880i…
So, I started to daydream… how nice, if these 2 can be combined…
Serious… unless you're in iOS, I still think that, well… maybe it's because of the hardware, and I can't blame on android… somehow, the touch and feel's a little bit slow…
And sometimes, it can be frustrating… but if it's button (that's why, there're still people who follows this Berry family) it'll be good…
Seriously, I miss my w880i's touch and feel…
And therefore, I started to imagine, if there's such a phone…
    As such…
    Eh!! Nice right?
    Ok, at least for me…
See… I'm always (and in fact) still a candy-bar-phone person, and I'm somehow towards thos sleek-longish-candy-bar type of look…
I don't quite like roundish edges type of phones…
    So, by having this,
    When I wanna touch, I touch…
When I wanna press buttons, I press button…
    Isn't that great???
And don't suggest me those slide phone… I hate those…
    Why??
Cos, slide phone indeed has 2 layers… ie. when you slide, the side-profile just doesn't look flat and sleek…
    Get it??
    It's absolutely utterly ugly…
And I hate those with slide out keyboard… yuk!

Gomen Ne~ Erika Toda… ^3^

See… if you ter-pick a not so nice japanese drama to watch… it'll really kill your appetite to watch any other japanese drama…
Though, I LOVE Erika Toda… but I seriously cannot stand the storyline of "Taisetsu na Koto wa Subete Kimi ga Oshiete Kureta"
I thought I'll be able to just finish it, maybe skipping a bit here and there… but NO~~~~~~ no way I'm going to finish it…
When I mentioned to him, he said it simply because I don't like Erika Toda enough… @_@ ya… maybe, but I've already grown out of the age, when you'll just like any handsome guy/pretty girl, blindly…
So, after some minor struggling - I mean emotionally, I decided to ditch this show…
Yes, ditch, with no regret,
Though I do really like Erika Toda, and I do like Haruma Miura too… (after seeing him in Bloody Monday)

Just like what I told him,
The story is a bloody simple story, ie. a couple, who's going to get married in another 3 months time,
One morning, the guy found a naked girl on his bed, and it turned out that, the girl's his student…
And that girl, seems like enjoying to be in this sort of couple-breaking role…
Bla bla bla…
AND it turns out that, it's all just a fake story telling, nothing happened between the guy and the student,
BUT then, the guy, being such an idiot, soft-hearted… and kinda feel sympathetic about the girl, and kept hurting his fiancee, to a stage, they cancelled their wedding and bla bla bla…
See, I don't have any mood to follow through this sort of storyline…
And really, because of this "wrong" choice…
I didn't watch any japanese show for a couple of days…

Till… I finally revived, and I'm watching Koshonin, ok… now, my appetite's back… ^_^
But then again, yes, I do feel a tiny little bit bad,
To ditch Erika's show… cos, YES, I SERIOUSLY LIKE HER!!!
She's my forever Goddess~

Everything happens for a reason; and Things don't happen, for a reason too...

I know, most of the time, people say, "everything happens for a reason", but then, sometimes, I also think that, nothing happens, for a reason too…
Sometimes… anyway, there's a meaning for us to be born ot this world, and for us to be still alive today…
It's all A happening…
Yes, nothing happens, it seems, but then, we're still alive…
And there is a reason… for whatever it is… ^_^

Anyway,
It prompted me to this thinking, it's because of what've happened in my life…
Also, what've not happened in my life, at certain time…
Like the chinese saying, sometimes, it doesn't happen, it's just timing…

My brother wrote this,
And again, that made me thinking of year 2008, when our beloved mother left us, car accident…
Then, I was thinking again, which I've mentioned looooooooong before… that God's the the best scheduler in town…
A lot of things…
My brother worked in the GH in town… and my father's admitted there, my brother (and his colleagues of course…) was the one, who maintained all the equipment in that hospital…
I didn't have any chid at that time, and I was attached to a company, with a boss who's very compassionate and understanding, and that I could quickly decided to be off the job (no pay) for 2 months… to take care of my father, and to do my part, as a daughter.. (I won't say, it's soemthing enjoyable, it's a mixed-feeling… nothing to boast about and nothing to complain about)

All these while, I was trying to conceive… but no news…
All these while, my mother prayed for me… for US…
After all many bad things… one day and eventually… I've my loveliest baby with me… beside me, all day…

And that's what make me things that…
When something's not happened… there's a reason too…
Like what my brother mentioned in his paragraph…
"But those who endure and wait until the end of these trials, surely will gain their faith. "

And that…
I Praise the Lord...

Singapura

Ever since we went to singapore some time last month (ie. june 2011),
It seems that, baby's fallen in love with that place…
In fact.. Not this place, maybe… it's my friend's place…
A nice cosy HDB flat, they've just moved in, and they've made it a very nice, homey, and cosy place…
In fact, baby and I didn't do much when we're there,
We both just hang out with my friend, and her kids,
All 3 kids like to play with each other, well… not really, they don't really know how to play with each other yet, especially baby, and her youngest baby…
It's just that, I reckon, all 3 of them enjoyed each others' presence…

Each day, we got up near noon, get changed, and we walked to the nearby food court,
Ya, that's what baby likes… cos, in our place, well… you know our country's not walkable,
Poor quality or non-existence of pedestrian path, and even there is, you don't know if you'll pump into any snatch theif…
Nah… but singapore's a friendly place for you to just walk, despite the hot weather… (same here too!)
So, she's very happy, extremely happy, to walk on the tar road… cos, all these while, sad and shame to say, her walking path's mainly those shopping malls… sad huh?? Indeed~~~~ that's our country, and our people, and our parents, and our kids… SAD~
3 days, we took the lift down, since my friend's kids walked freely and ran freely around the flast, so, my baby followed what they do… and she seemed to be VERY ~ happy ~
That's the time, she actually walked into the lift, walked out of the lift, by herself… again, due to the constraint of the environment in our country, and our condo here, we, most of the time hold her hands…
Cos, there're a lot of funny people, trying to snatch your kids away, and sell them away, and do whatever non-human things to them, IN OUR BLOODY COUNTRY~
But, not in singapore…
I'm not saying that place is 100% safe, but I reckon, it's at least 95% safe… most of the time, you get the news, where the mother or the relatives throw the kids down, or abuse the kids… (same here too!) but then, random street cases?? Rarely…

We'd go to the nearby food court… 3 days, we tried 3 different food courts, it's convenient around my friend's place, any direction you choose to go,
You see a lot of people walking, cyling, and nice friendly bright pedestrian path, not many cars zooming around in the neighbourhood during working hours… and baby definitely enjoyed the journey there and back… though both she and I would be soaked in our own sweat after getting back to the unit…

Each day, when we're there, she'll just keep asking us to bring her down to walk, walk and walk… cos, she knows, it's possible, enjoyable, and safe, probably…
Back here?? Nah… either she knows it's not possible for us to do so… she rarely ask…normally what she asks is, "go shopping"… (ya… I hate to use that typical cantonese phrase, "kai kai"… blueh!)

Then, on the day before we came back,
We brought her to the singapore flyer… that's the purpose we went to singapore, in fact… of course, another purpose, is to get a nespresso coffee machine…
Anyway…

I seriously think that, she truly loved that trip and it's a very memorable trip for her… compared to the first time, when she was nearly 1, we went to botanical garden… though, I love those beautiful pictures we took at the garden… but of course, we didn't expect her to remember any of those… she was still really too small during our first trip…

After coming back,
Just that night, when she was playing "driving" with him, ie. she'll arrange all her chairs, stools, in our living area, put all her soft toys on the chairs/stools… she herself sits in front, and him, at the back, and she starts "driving"…
(yes, of all, she still prefers to drive than to "cook", tonight, she got me to dig out her toy frying pan, played for a while, after I came out from the shower room, she's back to her "bus" again!)
So, that night…
He asked her, "where are we going?"
Surprisingly, she answered quite well, she said, "singapore…", in fact, we expected her to say something simpler, nearer… like one of the favourite shopping centre we go every weekend, for our grocery, ie. empire… but she answered "singapore"…
Then, he commented, "wa, you really like singapore…",
"what do you see in singapore?"
She said, "ferris wheel", ya… ferris wheel is her favourite, before we went to the singapore flyer, she'll non-stop talking about ferris wheel, ask me to open up youtube, get some ferris wheel images and clips for her,
Read madeline's story book, must read that madeline and the gypsy's story, as there's a ferris wheel in there…
Everything's about ferris wheel…
After saying "ferris wheel" to us, she immediately uttered, "singapore flyer"…
Again, we didn't expect her to tell us the name… frankly, as a mother, I was not just surprised, but a bit shocked, and wanted to cry… ^_^ tears of joy…
And so, I asked, "who do you see in singapore??"
Haha… the first person she mentioned, we thought, it'll be my friend's son, the eldest, the one she played with the most, and he's a very sweet and kind little boy, who'll hold her hands when they're walking on the road… (of course, with me, holding the other hand) and he'd walk slowly with her, following her pace…
But she didn't mentioned his name yet,
She mentioned, "uncle …", ooh… we didn't expect her to remember his name, but that's what she mentioned,
I asked, "who else?"
Then, she mentioned my friend's name… "auntie …",
"who else?"
She mentioned a name, but it's a wrong "meimei", I think, she remember, just that, she's a bit confused with the meimeis that she's… so, I corrected her…
And lastly??
Surprisignly, she actually just didn't mentioned the boy's name…
Of all, in fact, each time, when we browse through my digital photos album, she'd recognize him, mentioned his name, mentioned that, she wants to look at his photos, but then, just that night itself, she didn't mention his name… but then,
We smiled, I think, she's doing well…

And just tonight…
They're on that "driving" game again,
And again, he's at the back, passenger,
She's in front, bus driver…
And he said, he wants to go to penang,
But when he asked her, "where are we going?"
She said, "singapore!"
Haha.. Not again!!!
So, he was telling her, "how can? Totally wrong direction, now, we're lost!!"

O.o

Ya… that's my girl…

And yes,
In fact, not just she, enjoyed her singapore trip, but me too…
What did we do? No in fact, what I enjoyed most, was basically hang around with my friend, chitchat non-stop,
Doing nothing, just like when we're at our own place,
Now, it's just putting 2 similar housewives together, addon with those walking and outing trips…
Simple? But nice and memorable… ^_^

CONAN

Not, it's not about the comic/manga, or the anime…
It's about the real human version of the  movies,
Movie 1, 2 to 3,
Movie 1, 2 - Shun Oguri, and whoever there…
Movie 3 - Mizobata Junpei and whoever there…
Well… I've to say, say, say, cos,
After I saw movie 3, that's it…
I was like… arrgh…

It's not like I dislike mizobata junpei, or whatever, but then,
It's also not like shun oguri's the best person to portray shinichi,
BUT, at least, shun oguri's tall, or… rather long… vertically, somehow, resemble how it is in the manga…
I don't know how the production team select the so-called "right actor/actress" to portray these shows… adaptation from manga, especially those famous ones…
But when it gets to movie 3, ie. mizobata junpei,
That's it…

Like I said, it's not like I dislike him,
I like him, a nice little young policeman in Shinzanmono,
But then, when I watched movie 3, I thought, something wrong…
That's it, he's SHORT… maybe in real life he's not THAT short, but then, after seeing shun oguri, seeing him, as shinichi, it's a HUGE contrast…

And of course, I don't even wanna bother to mention about whoever who portrays Mori Ran,
See… I actually like the Mori Ran in the comic,
Clean and clear, sweet and understanding, straightforward, no sappy sappy…
But then, 2 generations, irregardless it's Kurokawa Tomoka, or Kutsuna Shiori…
My goodness~~
Both I feel like giving them a slap, in fact, I dislike kurokawa tomoka more, for some reason, just like Suzuki Anne, for some reason, I think both of them, have such a common look as to be a japanese actress… yes, may sounds a little bit harsh, but then, seriously… their look is just sooooooooooo "not appetizing"…

On the other hand,
I thought, from movie 1-3,
Both Jinnai Takanori who portrays the biggest moron in the story, ie. Mori Kogoro, and the inspector, by Ibu Masato, are pretty close to how the comic is… especially Jinnai Takanori… ^_^

Anyway… just some of my opinion…

There you go,
1st generation,
Shun Oguri and Kurokawa Tomoka,

2nd generation, (goodness!)
