Well… everybody knows I’m back to work… since a few months ago…
Anyway...
I’ve been wanting to write something here but couldn’t find time…
However, I guess… after yesterday’s event, it’s time for me to start my session here…
Sessions about my work…. Sessions about my colleagues, sessions about my office and so on…
My work…
Don’t ask me for details what I do…
When I reported myself to work in the 1st March this year, I couldn’t tell what department I’m reporting to… ^_^
Then, I slowly learn that, I gotta do pricing and costing for my internal colleagues…
That’s fine with me, but something that I hate doing I’ve to take on… which is nego, and bargain…
However, don’t get me wrong, I’m not a purchaser ^_^
Gradually…
I found out that, I’ve to help on marketing event, cos, I’m answerable to those vendors that I deal with...
I found out that, I gotta follow up on project (which is quite ok, cos I’ve done it before)
I found out that, I’ve to help the sales people to close the deal within certain timeline… again, cos, I’m answerable to those vendors that I deal with
I found out that, I’ve to basically take up those jobs that nobody’s a clue who’s the right person to do…
In the end, I realised… it’s all because what my department is called and it kinda sync with our company’s vision ie. “to be the partner of choice” and my department is called “partner management”, a.k.a…. everybody is our partner, and that we’ve to help… the vision sound great and grand… but the work is not easy…
However… it’s all fine with me ^_^
Maybe it’s because…
Well… frankly… I don’t really need to work (ya, don’t tell him about that ^_~)
I choose to go back to work, cos, I want some satisfaction and inspiration…
And the funny thing is, I actually put this in my CV… one of my line is, “to get inspirsed and to inspire others”
ya, I know, you don’t get to see things like this in a proper CV… therefore, I’ve always told people my boss is a brave woman….
She dared to take me up and out, after my 3-year hibernation and irregardless of my CV ^_^
… to be continued
